TEER 1

TEER 2

Technical / Skilled

Occupations usually requiring a college diploma or apprenticeship of 2+ years, or supervisory/safety responsibilities. Includes technical and skilled trades.

TEER 3

Intermediate

Occupations usually requiring a college diploma or apprenticeship of less than 2 years, or more than 6 months of on-the-job training.

TEER 4

Entry-Level Skilled

TEER 5

NOC & Express Entry

For Express Entry immigration, your work experience must fall under TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 to qualify for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC). TEER 4 and 5 occupations may qualify under specific Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). Your NOC code determines your eligibility and affects your CRS score.
